Susan Morabito

Susan began her DJ career in the fall of 1982. Leaving Cleveland in 1987, she moved to New Yorkto further expand her artistic possibilities. Struggling through her first few years, Susan's passion and determination eventually earned her the support she needed to showcase her talents.

Over the past decade, Susan has spun at a variety of New York City venues including Twilo, Roxy, Sound Factory Bar, Sound Factory, Limelight, Exit, SBNY, Octagon, Palladium, and the eminent Saint at Large parties held annually at the Roseland Ballroom. Having spun in every major city in the United States and Canada, her global recognition has also taken her to clubs in Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America.

The varied styles of music that are regularly featured in Susan's programs have continued to increase her appeal. This evolution has created a demand

for programs specifically tailored for special events that include philanthropic, fashion, promotional and movie related causes such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute in 2001 where she spun in the Temple of Dendur, American Ballet Theatre sponsored by Louis Vuitton (1998), Gucci (1999) & Celine (2001), and Vogue Magazine. Some of her notable perform-ances to date include various Saint At Large Parties, Big Guns NYC, Climax Gay Pride NYC, San Diego Gay Pride, Viva Los Vegas, Resolution Parties Los Angeles, and Gay Disney. This year Susan had the honor of playing the morning half of the Saint At Large Black Party, "Rites XXIV."

Apart from Susan's out-of-town performances, she currently holds a residency with her monthly "live" Parties in NYC (2000-Present) from the fall to the spring.

Rob Engel

A true music veteran, Rob Engel has been involved in the Columbus club scene since 1988, watching it blossom into the Midwest Mecca for dance music enthusiasts.

This

Rob began his DJ career working weddings and high school dances for a local mobile DJ company. From this humble beginning he quickly learned not only the mechanics of the craft, but also the more subtle art of reading a crowd. This led to his first club gig at Purity, a seminal underground campus bar, where he cut his teeth on industrial, acid house and early techno tracks. Three years later, Rob landed a Wednesday night residency at the Wall Street nightclub in Columbus. new residency afforded him the ability to import Midwest DJ talent into the club, most notably Psycho Bitch, Teri Bristol and house legend Ralphi Rosario. Rob later became a resident DJ in some of the most influential clubs in town, including 700 High, Red Zone, Mekka/Glow and the legendary Garage. Remaining at Wall Street for almost eight years, Rob quit Wall Street only after accepting a residency at the new Columbus hotspot, Axis Nightclub.

Axis' meteoric rise allowed Rob the opportunity to DJ numerous special events, including Columbus' Dancing In The Streets (1999 & 2000), Chrome Party after hours (2002) and warm-up duties for the Red Party tea dance (2001). Further guest spots in Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago and Cleveland have brought his high impact sound to the Midwest and beyond.

Over the last two years, Rob has really developed in the dance community. Being co-manager of Culture 7 Records, intern at a local recording studio, resident DJ at Axis and the Columbus Eagle, and remixer/producer in his home studio, his big break occurred when he was commissioned to remix Jephte Guillaume's Ibo Le Le for the 2002 Chrome Party main event. Rob hasn't looked back since, remixing a slew of artists such as Whitney Houston, Missy Elliott and Madonna.
